I have had the most amazing couple of days. I have had a ‘new’ found cousin, Chris; visit Christchurch on Sunday for 1 night that turned into 3 nights as a result of the snow. I have had the wonderful opportunity to spend time getting to know him. He has spent loads of time playing with and entertaining my son Ruben. We made a snowman on the front lawn together. On Wednesday I took Chris around the ‘Red Zone’ and through to Lyttelton. We then slowly negotiated our way through the snowy bays to Governors Bay and had fish n chips at the pub. What a wonderful view to see the harbour covered in a blanket of snow. I loved spending time with family, but have totally missed Room 10! Can’t wait to see you all.
