Snow Day

I felt an icy blast of wind past my face as I stepped onto the slightly mushy snow. I could feel my toes freezing beneath a thick layer of socks. Luckily for me I was wrapped warmly in gloves, a scarf and waterproof jacket, still I could feel the cold seeping in!

A white wonderland was before my eyes, everything and I mean everything covered in a blanket of snow. If it wasn’t so cold then I would want to stay out here all day! My first steps were cautious and slow...but before long like a baby’s first steps I moved faster and faster feeling the zero-degree wind whoosh past.

Hearing the door open I hid behind a tree waiting for the attack, and as I suspected my brother was there with a snowball in hand ready to throw at me!!! SMACK! HAHA before he could react I hauled snow at him and ran like the wind to shelter. My throw was followed by a full-scale snow fight around the house and up and down the street.

After coming to a truce we went inside for hot chocolate....what a perfect ending to a perfect day!!! Which also happened to be my birthday!!!!!
